Oculus started life as a contact lens centre in 1996 on the corner of All Saints Green. Our original mission statement was to dispense the best lenses, give the best service, give good value for money and always with a smile!

Within a few short years Jeff and his team built the practice into one of the leading contact lens opticians in the Eastern region.

In 2014 Jeff had a chance meeting with someone wearing super cool glasses on a train. It turned out that they had got the glasses from a boutique optician in Glasgow. He made contact with the optician in Glasgow and they introduced him to a whole new world of eyewear and a new way of dispensing them.He saw lots of similarities in the way they approached eyewear and the way Oculus approached contact lenses and the concept of Oculus Norwich was born.

In 2016 we moved to 16 All Saints Green which was uniquely designed to be both a boutique eyewear opticians offering full private and NHS eye examinations and a contact lens specialist optician

Oculus is in every way a family business. We've all worked together for many years and supporting each other whether it's work or life is the great part of working at Oculus. We all share the same values and passion for what we do, making an effort with ongoing training and have developed a democratic way of running the business by using our combined experience for optimum benefit.
